Kinner Camps-Sangla, is the only camp in the valley to be run by local professionals. It is the brainchild of Pradeep Negi who has grown up in Kinnaur and is therefore familiar with each and every aspect of it. The Camp has been in existence since 2001 and has played a major part in boosting eco-tourism in the valley.
Pradeep Negi has a travel and tourism background and has been a rafter in the Ganges for five years before starting the camp at Sangla. He has been on numerous rafting expeditions on rivers like the Alaknanda, Bhagirathi, Kali, Spiti, Chandra, Indus, to name a few.
Ever since the inception of Kinner Camps he has successfully led many treks both soft as well as technical to various parts of the Himalayas.
He has also worked as a guide to group of scientists who were working on the conservation of medicinal plants in Spiti, Uttaranchal and Himachal.
He is assisted by his brothers, Dileep Negi and Birbal Negi who make staying at the camp a completely Kinnauri experience.
